6500k light is daylight spectrum. renders the colours of plants and critters more faithfully.
10000k light is bluish. more frequently used for marine setups.
for planted tanks, colour temperature should be close to daylight.
i am thinking of changing my 6500k pl light (36w) to 10000k pl light (36w). will there be any impact on the growth of the plants? what is the recommended range? Is 10000k pl light better that 6500k pl light?
