    Hi everyone,

Can i know how much do you all trim your stem plants.
I used to trim to the height i want in order to create the slope i want.
But this usually required one trimming session weekly.

Hence, i decided to trim more, about 3-5cm below the height i want.
By doing so, it reduced the trimming session to once every two weeks.
But, it will look uglier initially for the first few days because the slope is broken.

If i am correct, one of Amano's book show how trimming is done. He trimmed all the way. I think more than halve.

What about the rest of you?

    Thks.

If I intend to create a sloping effect, I will trim the plants to different desired lengths

I usually cut almost to close half of the desired height so that the side shoots will grow and that makes the plant bushy.

An afternoon trimming my watery garden is better
