Adding submersible pump to canister / chiller setup

Guys, I am planning to get Hailea Water Pump HX 6530 with 1750l/hr.

the plan is to help pull water from ehiem 2228 (connected to chiller). the canister is getting old with slow output

do you think is workable?

I had only used Eheim 1260 and compact 3000 to pump through a dummy 2217-->Chiller-->SS pipe(2ft tank) and back to my 3ft tank. Flow rate looks okay to me.

Connecting pumps in series will normally damage them bro, not advisable.

Bro, if the canister is acting as a dummy should be fine?

He meant that you are using eheim 1260 and compact 3000 connected in series.

Haha.. My bad.

Actually I was referring to last time used to have a eheim 1260 connecting to the 2217, but now I changed to a compact 3000. Not having 1260 and compact 3000 in series.

By the way, how are you doing? It's been awhile I last heard from you. Busy with your studies?
