The defining characteristics as you can see in the pictures, is that there is a white vein that goes right down the middle of the leaves. The 3 pictures above are of young specimens, the white vein becomes more bright/wider and from that main vein, white "fork" lines go outward laterally across the leaf when the plant itself becomes older and more mature.

I'm really happy for you by any chance may I ask who you got it from? I won't be inquiring for any of this plant, I think you just happen to buy from the person I supplied this plant with in the states Grats on getting some of the limited quantity out there!

Very nice variant of the mini nanas! Always loved the mini nanas, and would love to get my hands on some of them too!
Need something to scratch that itchy hand of mine.

My friend got it from Singapore, but he keeps the informations as his trading secret. Mine didn't came from USA. :-) yes, this plants are very very limited in stock. I'm lucky to get one of those.

yes, it's worth to hunt this exotic plant :-)

Btw, my friend in Indonesia also has successfully cultivated this species too. But he grows them submersed. It takes years to cultivated them. Very slow growing plants.

Rather than keeping them submersed, I prefer to keep them emmersed. Let's see how they'll grow. :-)
