Still keeping very nice shrimps Xmant. Very nice. I prefer the reds to be abit darker though. I'm sure you have some blood reds somewhere..

wow! somehow I felt the clarity the video makes it feel like the shrimps were crawling on a dry land instead of water, very nice!

Speaking of which...how does one classify Wine Red vs Blood Red and what causes this different?

You can get that too by using crystal glass and cleaning the glass before taking the video

Yes, I do get a few this round, slighter darker red, but not bloody red as silane had shown quite some time ago.

Bloody Red is the result of crossing between BKK and WR and it has much darker red in coloration.

No need, mine is not a crystal glass tank. What you really need is a used phone card or credit card to scrub the tank wall will do. Cheap and good.

I'm not the expert on this. So, I might be wrong here (plus there was never a stark distinction between different shrimps and their common colour codes)..

Comparing a CRS with a WR, there is a different shade of red in the body, but the colour is still quite even in the WR (as per Xmant's video).
Comparing a WR with a "Bloody Red".. as it has been coined.. "Bloody Red" has obvious black pigmentations below the red (think of the colouration having multiple layers, with black pigments below the red). Thus far, I have not seen pictures of an evenly coloured "Bloody Red".

Correct me if I am wrong anyway.. but, WR refers to the colouration of the red on the shrimp and not the patterning, which can range from that of a regular banded CRS to an extreme red KK with 4 dots on the tail. The same goes for the term "Bloody Red". Its close to impossible to come up with a grading system that incorporates both patterns and colours..
