Looking good. How did you feed the CO2 into the IOS? I cant imagine how the CO2 pumps out from there

His DIY co2 outlet is put near the pump intake or iq5 come with the pipe with a air tube inlet.

i put the outlet (chopstick) at the intake of the power head of the IOS.. so the bubbles are extra fine. is it okay if i leave the CO2 blowing in the tank with cherries in there? >< i'm planning to introduce fauna soon (:

Should be ok. I had a GEX M tank DIY CO2, filled with tons of cherries (can check out my posts) and i left the CO2 @ 1 bubble per 4-5 seconds 24/7 until it runs out. Not much issue with the shrimps but then again my tank is quite filled with moss and ferns

BTW: Thats alot of sugar LOL!

I am going for Rili and CPO nowadays, they seems to do better in a 26 to 28 degree tank. I am using fan to cool the tank. I will remove around 300 ml of water for every 1.5 liters top up. Topping up water almost every 2 days.

    Re: My Newbie Dymax iQ5

    Hi all,

Thanks for the many smses and calls. So i figured out that i should post and share the information here since there are alot of people asking me.

this tank has been given away to my friend, and thus i do not have any APP to give away or to sell.

As to where i initially bought my APP from? I got my APP from seaview.
It's located at the plants section, the lower part where boxes of HC and moss are at.
You'll find the APP inside a short cylindrical container, with "Elatine Triandra" on it.
It should cost $4.50 per container.

The helpers there claim that they do not know which are what plants, so do not need to ask them.
Do note that seaview does not have discount for livestock and plants.

Hope this will help those who want to buy this plant.
