Hi,

May I know what is the difference between the Biohome standard vs Biohome standard PLUS besides the larger size for the PLUS are they perform the same?

Undecided which to buy as the PLUS is more expensive.

Biohome plus is supposed to have additional "good stuff" to help the bacteria grow faster and better. How well that works is entirely up to individual tank conditions and filter setup

Thanks for the reply, I realise I had a typo, I meant ULTRA (grey/white) but not PLUS (red).

Ultra is effectively the same thing as plus, except the size.
It's meant for people with large sumps and pond as its easier to handle larger pieces for such a huge volume required.

Hi Navanod, thanks for sharing i'll just buy the standard typ and save some $$$.
