    Hi all,

I bought a mesh of moss from
Colorful about a year plus ago without knowing the name of it. The uncle just said its a new type of moss and grow quite slowly thus the high price.

Now I got a tank full of them but still not sure which moss is it. They grow quite compact and seem to be growing in layers. I'm suspecting that it's a layered moss? Please takr a look at the pictures below and really appreciate any advises! Thanks!

I have this moss too from colorful's uncle. "Amazing" thing about this moss is new moss will grow out from the "stem"/branches of each frond (i dont know how to describe it) which result in a very bushy look of these mosses, thus the name layer moss. I used it to form carpet and moss wall.
I think it is just a name given by hobbyist, no offical scentific or common name yet, thus colorful's uncle say it is a new moss.
