It is best to keep the doors of your cabinet open as the moisture will be too intense and it may affect the electrical aspects of your setup. Do you have ventilation fans at the side of your cabinet?
Hi all,
I was wondering if it's ok to place a 1 feet cube tank inside a closed aquarium? It's meant for housing culls , quarantining plants etc. T5HO Aquazonic lights on for say 8 hrs daily. Maybe throw in airstone to oxegenate. Any issues to take note like additional moisture in cabinet etc? In the cabinet there will be a co2 cylinder, canister filter and miscellanous stuff.

Thanks for the suggestion bro. will add the fans inside to circulate the moisture if it adds to helping fulfiling my plan. I was just wondering, sumps also running like that in cabinet? Sorry, don't really know much about sumps.
Sump tanks in covered cabinets do work with proper ventilation. You can keep a 1 ft cube in your cabinet but the risk of moisture buildup will be there, especially in an enclosed space. Note, if you cover this tank and leave it inside the cabinet with the lights running, it will get pretty warm and may be counter productive as some plants may die if the water gets too warm. As long as you have proper air flow through the cabinet, it is workable. Use the fans as suggested by SirBest. You can DIY your own with PC fans if you wish. The key is to ensure proper ventilation.
