Hi fellows, I have a list of plants that I wish to get. There're quite a few different types in the list, though quantity required for each species is not much. If I wish to order them, any reliable merchant to grab from? The merchant must be well-versed with the scientific names of those plants, & preferably able to allow me to specify down to the exact variant of a species.

So far I can only think of MizuWorld & Green Chapter. Any other merchants to recommend? I do not mind paying more for quality-conditioned plant harvested from quality environment.

you can come to C328 tell aunty that you want to order plants. Aunty will pass you the oriental book, pick the plant you want, just write down the order number on piece of paper. You can also do it at home if you have the oriental book, just write down and pass it to C328 aunty (the owner not the packaging aunty).

@Shadow, I have that book, & a fair number of plants that I require, are not listed in it.

Hey that's cool. But will this be more expensive? Any extra charges? Any minimum order?

No extra charges, but I'm not sure about minimum order. I normally order at least 10 pots, we are suppose to plants densely from the start

@Shadow, talking about planting densely, I have got a couple of questions:

Qn1: is there any trick to make things easier when we are planting stem plants so close to one another, i.e. the moment I use tweezers to stick one unit into the soil, the movement of the tweezers in the soil will disturb the adjacent one that's already planted.

Qn2: are we supposed to plant everything before any flooding?

Qn3: If planting is to take place before flooding, how to support the floppy stem of weak-stemmed stem plants from drooping & messing up one another? Use satay sticks as support?

Plant before you fully fill the water. Normally I will fill up to the substrate level. Plant from front to the back, let the wood or rock support it.
