if its like a turf of black hairy thingy, its BBA. Usually due to bad/not enough CO2 circulation.

the thing is I had not pump in any CO2 yet. Started to pump CO2 this afternoon only. will it improve if CO2 is pump?

either insufficient light or insufficient co2. adding more co2 doesn't cure the problem, you have to manually remove them. But it stops them from growing![]()

Improve CO2 injection and lighting and prune affected leaves away.

Light ain't an issue here with the BBA.

if dun want to cut away, then maybe after increasing circulation and lighting, get some cigar fish to eat away, cause i have this prob and it is difficult to cut away the affected leaves without cutting fresh 1s, if not got to pull out the whole strand.
