    Hi guys,

Just bought 20 Rasbora (either hengeli or herlequin). So I put them in my quarantine tanks. I noticed there is white thing on them so I give some medication. The first night 1 fish downed. The second night 2 fish downed. No more casualties anymore now but they do not eat their food. Is it ok? Any advice? Poor little creatures.

what i usually do with newly bought fish is i dun feed them until at least the 3rd day.by then...wadever edible to them, they will just gobble it.if u feed them on the 1st or 2nd day, they might not adjust to ur food and the one they previously had in the lfs.

and u should chk carefully before buying new fish for white spots.

How big is your quarantine tank? Any cycled filter in there?

You will need a proper Q tank that is cycled.

    Thanks for the reply....

My tank is 2 footer and its been set up for over a month for quarantine tanks. Now that I have casualties but the fishes still on their hunger strike.

I dun really know whether it is a white spot or some parasites.

    Thx
