Hi bro...it's a good start but kinda plain.
    You initial starting of this tank is?;
    Fully Into planted?
    Shrimps?

Tied some moss and add more fore ground plants will look better

You might need to remove the holder ring and insert the plants into the substrate

Re: 1st Attempt on 4ft Tank

    Hi,

There are 2 pieces of DW where I joined together myself.
Actually it is resting on the side of the other if you look carefully.
Was intended to have a full planted tank with fishes (Will transfer the existing CT & guppies from my old 2 footer) and shrimps (Am thinking of Yamato Shrimps)
I am still thinking where to place those plants with weigh rings.
Purchased some ferns and the same pieces of DW from LFS yesterday, i think i will transfer some existing flame mosses from my old 2 footer to make it nicer.

    Currently my setup:
    1. 4 feet 12000k lamps (4 tubes)
    2. ATMAN CF1200 Canister filter
    3. 4 packages of planta soil as substrate.
    4. Have not transfer my 2L CO2 tank (w/o solenoid from my 2 footer)

interesting wood, you might want to show it off instead of suppress it

What is your tank spec detail?

Beautiful wood... If it were me, I would grow some moss on it. Maybe even make it look like a cave.
    Cheers.

I love the way you join the wood, very beautiful. In my opinion you can spread your tape grass at the background and let them spread gradually. I would shift the Java fern to a lower portion of the driftwood to give more attention to the main wood. I think glosso will look fantastic in your foreground too. I guess you are still considering what plants to introduce into your tank, keep us updated!

Its green water algae. You need UV sterilizer.

Nevermind, you already post some at post #5.

You need more plants to such out the ammonia. Green water normally due to ammonia spike and high light. you need your CO2 up and running ASAP
