    Hi Guys,

I was trying to research whether is it possible to do this and how?

I found a few websites saying that it can be done but it's only for show perhaps for just a few minutes. I don't think I would mind that. It is for show anyway.

I want to know how. There are lack of videos or diagrams to allow people like me who require a visual aid to better understand the construction. The flow must not be too strong that the sand don't go all over. It should be smooth flowing. I was thinking a very tedious idea of gluing it to the rock surface with rainfall photos to aid but it'll be hard to copy the natural flow of it.

So has anyone done a diy for this and if possible teach me how?

Do comment, criticise the idea etc. Thanks.

Yes Shadow. I couldn't understand the construction.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5sRxmnGkAEY <-- like this but that piece was purchase as it is. I'm looking at diy so the scape can be adjusted accordingly. I won't be turning it on 24/7. For purpose of showing it for a few minutes. The flow in the video is very smooth. Some folks was too messy and the flow was way too strong. It'll be place at the back so if any diy equipment can be hidden at the rear.

Agree. Just for the sake of being satisfied that it's achievable. But I have yet to find the time to gather the materials I need. You never know, once a success, you might want to make a rainforest with a waterfall. =) Enter competition.

Good luck and do let me know when you start. Would love to know your design, test and materials used.

    Cheers.

Well, alot of aquarium decorations use sand as a waterfall. so in this case, it's just a DIY deco..
