I always wanted to post some of my normal shrimps photo but felt a bit embarrassed as many seniors shrimps are top grade .. But this time is my last time before i pass my tank to a nice guy to take care..
I started keeping shrimps a year ago .. Start from Cherry and suffered almost 100% death.. Found this forum and start to ask alot of questions that why become Veteran rank. haha . Not because i am an expert but ask too much questions but thankfully alot of bros here keep encouraging me ..
I started my own 2 feet with my savings and redo 9 times due to alot of reasons such as soil issue which i believe my post on " Bad soil experience " still available in this forum .. finally got it right .. Started to design my own tank layout and got a unique driftwood with small christmas moss ..
Today, my Christmas moss grew out the way i wanted .. CRS started to give birth with snowwhite babies flourishing .. Is like from a super newbie guy to not so expert but at least can manage to breed them and keep them alive .. However, my dad wanted me to stop shrimping and ordered me to sell my hardwork .. many reasons from him but the end point is no more fish tank for now .. Pretty sad .. Hence i would like to share my last joy with everyone ..

My Red tiger - found it when i was looking around for Fire red
This is my only yellow tiger - Seriously i dont know where this came from . I just remember purchasing 2 bags of Tiger and this one just caught my eyes after it stable down .. So i separate it in am external breeding box
This one catch my eyes when i purchase colour shrimps. It was not so blue .. But till today, it develops very intense blue with a white strip on it .. Look pretty nice but weird also . haha
Overall tank picture .. Alot of frogbits cause i dont change water . And i dont believe in curb as i love all my shrimps no matter how they look like hence my tank full of rojak mixture of shrimps.

It's a waste for a hobbyist to leave...
Especially when the efforts you have put in to keep this hobby going and finally get in the way you wanted to be.

I believe this will be a temporary break from your hobby..
I am sure you will be back...with blessing from family...
Thus in replacement of your favourite hobby, comes the harmony within family...
Sacrifices may be painful but joy within family will slowly erase those images of Shrimps...

We are always here waiting for your return, since you have suffered many setback and yet get the tank right. I guess this is just another hiccup. And hope you will be back stronger and more poisonous. Cheers!

It had happened to me too. I have stopped for more than 10yrs in freshwater fish keeping after my marriage. My CO didn't allow it at all till my child wanted it a few years back on keeping fish.

"imperial order" will definitely change as time pass by.. I was also given this "imperial order" when i started keeping shrimps. But now he even asked me to keep inside a 24/7 air-con room..
So no worries..
My empress dowager said 2 tanks as electricity bills high.
I am now the emperor, I pay the bills hehe. True story.

don't be discouraged...next time when you have a chance..you can come back with a bang...you can lose the tank and the hobby for now but you will not lose the experience and knowledge you gained...when you stage a comeback next time..it will just be stronger...
