The timer that I'm using is 'Theben'. Works quite well so far. The shop in front of Petmart is selling at $20. I suggest you get the timer soon. The current setting of 11.5 hours daily may be to much resulting to algae infestation. I suggest setting it to 10 hours. You can start lighting at in the afternoon and stop juz before you bedtime. This should give plenty of time to admire your tank after a hard day's work.

Try Best Denki eletronic store. I got the same brand for about $15. Usually LFS mark up such stuff. Pet safari sells it at $30+ !
