So I just want to share my set up.
I have 3 tanks together.
I will share my 3 ft tank first.
Water parameters are as follows:
Ph - 5.2
TDS - 180
Temp - 23 - 24 degree

Yes. when I have a partition, I run on two filters.
Now have taken out the partition, so going on 1 Ehiem 2228 with Hailea 300A.
If you run two filter, the flowrate will be high. It may not suitable for shrimps.
Like I have said, since the partition have been taken out. I am running on 1 filter.
Will show my current set up tomorrow.

Agree with bro zz, i guess it doesn't really matter.. as long it is not turning your tank into a tornado,it should be alright.. disturbance to the water column can be adjusted by either limiting the valves or tilting the outlet towards the wall of the tank. To add on, over filtration is definitely better than under filtration...

Plants I have are Java moss on drift wood. This is my community tank.
Mostly are Grade A to SSS CRS. Golden Yellow and some blue shrimps.
Soil is Mosura.
Filter is Ehiem 2228 with Hailea 300A
Temp is 23 - 24 degree
PH is 5.2 (trying to increase to 6.0)
TDS is 220- 225

It's nice shrimp tank.
Why do you need to increase pH? How long did you use Mosura Soil for above tank?

How do u run two filters to the tank?that means one filter is connected to the chiller only?
Yes only 1 filter will go through chiller. The other just filter only.

No, issues during the set up.
Problem with this tank is that the ph is buffer at around 5.0.
My soil is only 6-7 months old only.
I tried increase k then the ph will increase but it can't be maintain.
Anyone got any ideas to share.
Hi bro Heman,
I have 3 tanks but only 2 chillers. 1 of the tank is connected via a SS pipe bought from avex30.
I will share the other 2 x 2 ft tanks later.

This is my 2 ft tanks. I have put 2 X 2 ft tanks side by side.

This is my PRL. I have got a few Hakatas in it, but when I transfer from my 3 ft to 2 ft I had a lot of casualties.
