Cichlid lying sideways

Hi,

One of my cichlids is lying sideways and it had been like that for 2 days before it passed away. What disease is it suffering from and is it too late to cure if already found in that condition? Thanks

I am curious to know this as well. I have the same problem. For me, the angelfish started floating around the tank with the current, occasionally trying to swim. I read that this is called Swim Bladder disease. One of my angelfishes died yesterday, and I went to get two more. Today, the other one is showing the exact same symptoms.

Could it be due to CO2 poisoning? As I have a feeling my CO2 levels are a little too high.

Hope someone can enlighten me, as I absolutely love angelfishes and would like to know how ot keep them properly.
