I would go with led. Save money in the long run. Plus LED have better design. IMO.
Jervin is correct initial cost might be higher but you save on running cost.
But the plants you mention have less requirement on light.

Plant tank Led will do the job n cost effective. T5 seem more for reef rank.
If you intend to use the lightest more than 6 hours per day, go for LED.
