Colourful fishes with Apisto Caca

I'm currently running a 2ft tank with an Eheim 2213 filter. It is low tech, planted, and with ADA Am!zonia and black oyama background. I plan to place a pair of Apisto Caca in there with 6 Otos. I have no other real plans for the rest of the fish. My dad wants to add fish which are really colourful (bright colours) so that it looks nicer. I want to please him but I have no idea what kind of fishes to add in..Any suggestions? Thanks!

Perhaps you can do some research on the tetras variants. They're quite colourful in my opinion. I personally like golden tetras. shiny shiny little fishes.

What about galaxy fish? Suitable?

Galaxies are shy by nature and will tend not to feed well when it is placed in with bigger fishes. Galaxies might not also be able to tolerate the low pH apistos are comfortable in. You can always go with the tested and proven cardinals or neon tetras.
