My very first planted tank

My first attempt to do a planted tank. Please give me some comments, good or bad all welcome.

It has been a month now and did some slight replacement of plants.
45cm tank
No chiller
3D background with IOS filter

Plants
APP as the main plants
The rest i not sure the name

Zebra fish, tetra, rummy nose






However, i got question, my APP seemed to grow upward instead of creeping. Next the left part of the tank seemed to rot off while the right side seemed to be doing well .. There are also some algae growing from the soil. Any idea how to solve it ?

Yes yes .. the middle plant was only recently added .. both side gets equal light .. i wonder if it is batch issue .. Cause i used 2 different sets of APP. One from LFS one from my previous tank.
