    Hi,

Just helped my friend did a 6 ft curved tank...
the stones are temporary placed to make the driftwood sink.

Just helped him did the aquascaping and planting the hairgrass..all the other CO2, temp, lighting are done by him, so I am not really sure how exactly is been set. I think the lighting is 55W x 8...

any comment and advise are welcome..

    Thanks,

Front view..the water is cloudy..bo bian..

Looks promising. What fishes is he intending to put in?

Some anubias and java fern in the midst of the wood should turn out quite well.

tree, i think the center deserves two more branches, pointing upward with a little bending towards right, and probably another 45degree to the right.

Look kinda empty on the CENTERTOP to DIAGONAL-HALF-RIGHT?

You are using all dwarf hairgrass? Maybe can try some stem plants behind the wood. Amano has some really nice set ups lke that.

    Vinz,
most probably cardinals....damn standard for hairgrass layout...but I really have no idea what else..mabe some schooling rasbora?? hmm..in this case, how many will be a good number?

    Lorba,
I first got this 3 pc of driftwood on the lefthand side, for just 15 bucks, from a farm. Originally wanted to put them at the center, but after placed them in, then I realised maybe I get a few more for the right hand side..maybe something shorter, so can form a triangle shape(left hand side taller)....then I went back to the farm, but could only allocate two pc of driftwood that match my image and also match the 3 pc that I bought earlier..cost of 8 bucks....and, quite sure the farm has no more driftwood something like these....

at the back, is long hairgrass, i planted them in between the junction of the driftwood, so viewing from top, it's a reverse triangle....

maybe will get some fern as vinz suggested in case the long hairgrass at behind turn out bad looking.

    thanks for the comments,

haha, next morning get ready to pick up hundreds of ikan bilis on the floor and then must re-layout the driftwood again.

100 pentazona then. I find that the color of the barb can suit the green of the hairgrass and the brown of the wood well!

But that would be probably be $200!!

If it were up to me... 1 arowana.

But seriously, tetras tend to disperse if there are no threats, instead of school. Don't think the tank wil look nice with little neon specs all over. Larger fishes like discus or altums will look nicer, IMO.
