Recently bought a TETRA N03 Test Kit. Sucks, It shows only
either 0ppm Yellow in colour, or 12.5ppm Orange in colour, and above. Its cant give me the reading for 5ppm- 10ppm which is the most important. And the colour
result is always between yellow and orange.
Anyone out there can advice me a more reliable reading Test Kit. I intend to buy also Fe, KH, PH, Ca, P & K Test Kit. Pls advice too.
Remember me so that you will not forget me.

    Testers

Most of the common brand for freshwater isn't very accurate. You can use it but as a rough guide. Most of the people here uses AP. It has ranges of 0, 5, 10, 15,.... and its cheap.

    PH

Get a digital (test pen) version for this. This is important. Spend money here.

    KH

Use AP's KH and GH tester (comes together in one box). Cheap and effective. Sera is okay too (KH only). With AP's KH and GH, you don't need Ca tester.

    P

    None is accurate.

    K

Lammott if you have money to burn. But seriously, you don't need them.

    Fe

This is the worst element to test for. There is no reliable test kit. Save your money for the rainy day.
