    Hi guys,

Need advice. I will be away for work for 24 days. During 24 days, no one will be available to take care of my tank which is the following:

    1ft Tank:
    - Anubias
    - Java ferns
    - Java moss

    5 Tetras
    2 guppies
    7 Cherry Shrimps
Unknown number of shrimplets and baby guppies

Can I ask what are the things i need to do before i go for the 24day work trip?
For example, what can i do about their feeding...

    Thanks in advance!

for feeding, can try auto feeders. for lights, if you do not already have a timer you might want to consider. so that you wont come back to a tank full of algae.

    Re: Away for 24 days

    Hello,

You can consider auto feeder (their below $20 for a cheap one), if you don't mind some shrimplets gone you can leave it as option. The fish do nibble on plants here and there too.

If your using a fan to cool down your tank, chances are a water topup will be needed. You can measure how much is the loss per day and gauge.

Ps: you can add extra water with a 1.5l bottle connected via via airline. Same theory as water-bridge.

Fert wise a 20 days is ok, come back might see some off balance.

    Hope this helps.
