I know that angelfish are predatory. Being a cichlid also, what abt discus?

My search for recommended tank mates suggests fish that dwell in warmer waters such as cardinal tetras.

Anybody know if discus will go after boraras (yes, i know some of you already raising an eyebrow .. SEA and SA fish should not be together ) ?

And it appears that otos are fond of the secretions on discus body and tend to stick onto them. Anybody can attest to this ?

    Thanks.

as long as the fishes are faster than them, then you got no problems.. as for the slime thingy, observe your otos.. remove if you see them doing it

ya...otos like to stick on the bodies of discus.the best is dont put them together.if you wanna remove algae then put plecos lor.even though they also like to stick to discus but they are too slow moving already.before the pleco can stick on the discus already swim away!
