Yeah, i had them mixed with cherry shrimps in my shrimp tank too... they multiply much faster, i started with equal numbers of both, but after a few months the malayan shrimps took over 80% of the tank.

Saw some larvae floating around in the tank.

How long to take for them to become shrimplets???

Should be a few days then you'll start to see shrimplets.

I only got one pair in the tank only
