APA prefilter issues

I have used 2 APA prefilter, both of them have leaks through their valves. Is anyone facing this problem as well? Currently i just fix the hose into the pre-filter without the valves.

I also have same problem. I am using a brand new jaqno prefilter. The water leak out from both fitting.

I'm using jaqno too but no leaking just make sure you turn tight enough but becareful too

This is the fitting in packing. I really angry to it. I try to settle it till 2am... Try and try and try. Still leaking. Later bring it back to the shop. See what they can do on it.

hmm the water leak out from the grey area or the black bottom ?

I had checked it. Is from end of the black side. That is because the fitting didn't fit in properly.

how did you bring back to the shop already ? i had this problem before but i just turn the thing till tight , so far no leaking already.

Yup! Inside the packing have 2 sets of fitting head. Must use the plastic set. But, after I try it. Still have one of it leaking..... Sian.

They exchange the fitting. Is settled! But I feel that is not perfect.... Anyway, let it cycle my new tank 1st. Can't wait to collect my moss fr crs haven.... Is on wed. Then can complete mine setting Liao! Wahaha!
