erm..i have just read ada's iwagumi guide and at instruction 6 which is filling of the tank , they stated
'Lastly, we chose Eleocharis vivipara for the background. Eleocharis also plays a role of easing the strong rock impression.'
how does it help in easing the strong rock impression and what does that mean

They chose it to "lighten" the rock so it does not stand out too much.
In my personal words, they do not want the rocks to be too... BOOMZ and unbalance the tank.
You have noticed rock 1-2 are normally larger ones? (See samples Google: "iwagumi golden ratio" Select "Images" tab.)
You do not really have to follow "Golden ratio" to achieve a nice rock arrangement (Iwagumi is romanji - link)

Are the the guy who bought rocks on Thursday? Hehe.
Very nice planting! I think the rocks are quite nicely done, although the 2 pairs facing left looked too identical, except one pair is slightly bigger.
The smaller rocks may also disappear into the bushes once your plants grow taller. Just something to look out for.
