Yes Tetra will nip guppies.

Tetra will eat baby guppy, but adult guppy may live well.

i Guess it still depend on how big the tank is... and how friendly is the tetra...
Don't get long tailed guppies. Short failed varieties should be okay.

Provide more plants. So that the guppy babies can hide.

I've seen my larger guppies chased around by small cardinal tetras. One of the guppies got nipped til it died.. I had to remove the guppies and put them in a separate tank..

Serious? Tetra that fierce ah. I hope they don't whack my shrimps !!
Edit: sms lingo, it is don't not "dun". Kindly please refrain from using sms lingo.
