I just bought some plants from the aquarium shop but i do not know what plants they are. Please kindly identify for me ?? Thanks very much!

Hi there,

2nd and 3rd pictures are barcopa pretty hardy plant.
1st one you mean the one on the dw? If so it's a gujing (common name)

2 and 3 look a like emerge leaf of rotala, will know better once it converted wo submerge leaf.

Sorry, I am unable to help u. I cant help but notice that u have a goldfish in the 2nd picture. Will the goldfish uproot and munch these new plants? Understand that most plants are not compatible with goldfish, except those hardy one.

Let me know your experience, cos I am rearing goldfish too... thanks.

Thanks for the identification guys! I will go read up on those plants. tonyneo, i have 4 goldfish and they did not uproot or munch on the plants, they like to suck in the subsrate and spit out often though. Btw guys, is 33.8 degree celcius too hot for the fishes? The fishes look fine to me, i bought a thermometer yesterday because i always felt my aquarium water was warm to touch and the readings i got was about 33-34 degrees celcius..

I bought that plant on the background from a fish shop.. isn't it malayan aqua fern?

its Selaginella wildenowii, not sure the common name . Cannot fully submerge, normally used for terrarium

Do you guys have a chiller or a fan permanently cooling the water? I just changed from 2400l/hr waterhead pump to a 650l/hr.. my water temp is still around 32 degree celcius.. i thought it was my oversized waterhead pump thats causing the heat..
