G'morning everyone! I'm having a bit of trouble making up my mind on a few issues. I want to order an ADA 60-P from Roger but haven't done so because i don't know if i should order lily pipes at the same time from him as well. My main concern here is regarding the lily pipe sizing. Should i use an Eheim 2215 with 13mm lily pipes or an Eheim 2217 with 17mm lily pipes? I can't make up my mind because i don't know if the 17mm lily pipes would look disproportionate (too big) on the 60-P.

As with all ADA tanks, owners want to achieve a minimalistic look that also provides the best possible filtration for the tank and i am no different. I am afraid an Eheim 2215 with its 620L/H flow rate will be too low, hence i am leaning more towards an Eheim 2217. But then the 17mm lily pipe problem appears. I have thought about one alternative and that would be to go ahead with the Eheim 2217 but use Borneowild Switchglasses so i can have 13mm lily pipes. But i'm afraid that would hinder the filter's work rate and shorten it's lifespan.

Anyone has experience with a similar set-up to the one i'm intending to set up? If yes, please give me your advice! Everyone's opinion is welcome. Thank you!

Step 1: head down to Gc.
Step 2: take the 13,17mm lily pipes and try it on the 60p glass tank to see if you are okay with it.
    That's all. Simple.
By the way, if you are using a 2217 for a 2 feet x 1 x 1 Ada 60p tank, you will have a washing machine 100% if you are not using a chiller.

2217 with 60p? Add chiller or prefilter and use double tap.
Only vortex big, not yet washing machine. 60P is not equipped with a drain and dry feature (joking)

Thanks for the reply. I guess i'll go with an Eheim 2215 and that means 13mm lily pipes.
