I understand that the TS bought them at this condition because they were sitting in a tub when he picked them up from the seller?
Ok i got a few questions,
how big is it when you bought this?
while acclimatising ,is it already like this?
Aspiring to be.
Have you ask owner are they like this initially?
If they are black initially..then it could be the water. Regular adjusting of ph could lead to this problem too.
I've a friend who bought beautiful bb as seen from a forumer..and some pandas from me.
Used to see in his tank...as normal nice coloration...till he added in stuff...that made the ph went up and down...tds up and down. Till his panda coloration drop till green and bb all turn like snow white without blue hue at all.
Prolonged drop of color....will caused the chances of colour from recovery lesser.

Yes , I did ask him . He told me initially was not like this , is black . The problem is when I went over to collect ,the shrimps are all in a tub prepare by him with his tank water(I think)and before I step out of his house the color is already faded .How can it be my tank water problem? I have some BB and BKK in my tank, they don't have this problem at all bro .
Hi,
I think I know who you got from.
Also the shrimps were black from his on start. But his water quality was not that great, that is why the de-coloured panda.
I also got some bds from him, also de-colored, but in my tank colour coming back.
Ken
hmm i saw this color shrimps mass breed in europe, green pandas.. may be you can just monitor them..
I helped him to de-comp his tank. He even pass you a baby blue bolt, right?
His water condition was no good that is why the de-colored shrimps.
My BDS was collected on the same day as yours. The colour is coming back, but still not very solid yet.
What is your water parameters?
Mine is as follows:
Ph. 6.0
Temp 23- 24 degree
TDS 220 - 230
Ken
But if you saw this at this coloration..
If you think something was wrong somehow...you should not accept the deal.
Many have the correct water parameter...but just can't get the reason why every kk went in will drop color.
There was once...a forumer whom have a batch of kk that was drop color...almost every single piece. Not green but grey...
Parameter is ok...
But I shift them over to my tank...
In 1-2 weeks time...after Molt...coloration recover for most of them..at least 70% total recover.
But return to his tank....
Color drop in a week time....
Just can't find the reason why????

I think i have to answer this part
Andy Bro is pretty new in shrimp hobby. I would say that his first shrimp tank are filled with BKK, BB and GEBT unlike most of us, crs or bds. However, this does not justified him been knowledgeable enough in shrimp hobby. The seller told him that the colour was faded due to the stress when seller caught the shrimps and put it in a tub. I am sure many sellers or buyers experienced shrimp fading colour during transaction which is pretty normal. Hence it is understandable that Andy purchased the shrimps. I think the issue seemed to be the seller now.
What exactly is meant by "his water quality was not that great"? What is great?
