    Hi, I've just started my tank and I'm using a lamp which consisted of 2 x 6w lamps.
    My question is, so is my output of light 12w in total or just 6w?

    Can the sifus here please clarify? thanks in advance!

    Hi Lionel,

    When I tell people I tell total wattage.

    If you post in your tank specs, it would be optional but helpful to some to state as per below.
    Total 12w (6w x 2)

    Hi, sorry, where did you get your 2 X 6w lights? I know T5 minimum wattage is 8 watt (1 ft). Yours is PLC?

    Yup...its 30cm one and its T5...however...its onli 2 x 6w lights...
