    I haven't updated the thread here in a while but the tank went through a few rescapes. I tried doing a semi "planted" tank with narrow leaf java ferns. The pictures are below - started out ok but due to heavy feeding and low flowrates, debris started settling even on the narrow leaves and the ferns were not doing too well.







    The latest iteration is just root like branches with money plants on the surface. Added Altum angels as well. The roots that moneyplants grow in water are very different from those that are emersed.

    Nice!

    I like the scape with the money plants!

    The fishes look fat too
