did you put the filter under your tank?
Hi I just got a set of 2213 for myself but after connecting it to my aquarium, I realise that the inlet is unable to suck up water fast enough. Has anyone got the problem before?

did you put the filter under your tank?
how big is your tank ?
imho 2213 is probably good for 2ft tank or below.
Maybe your piping is clocked up with algae that may narrow your pipe or You have to prim the old school way by sucking from the inlet with your mouth
You can try running the filter without any medium.
check any air bubbles trapped at the inlet tubing which may reducd the flow
