You can find all sorts of fans at Sim Lim Tower but it'll be tricky to find one that fits.
Otherwise, you can try your luck at Bioplast. The uncle is quite good at replacing/upgrading fans for chiller.

Very well done! Even brought in the fan speed controller? But I wonder how useful it'll be as you'll likely set it to one speed and leave it that way forever?

    Re: Chiller spare parts?

thanks bro. the fan that i brought are high speed type.
so got to use a fan speed controller to lower the speed. if not, the fan will be very noisy. " this is a lazy man way. no need to calculate this and that, and to solder here and there. "
if i wan to force more hot air out of the condenser, i just need to adjust the fan speed controller. it abit like the house fan..

I assume your fan will be on 24/7 now? Since the compressor doesn't control the fan's on and off anymore.

I think you can hook up a relay to the temp controller to automatically turn on the fan when the compressor turns on?

Hi blurless. the fan is tap to the rely with the compressor. only will kick-in when compressor kick-in also.

Very nice! When my CL-280 fan give way I'll try what you did also... I always thought the fan is integral with the compressor. Didn't get a proper look beyond the front cover. Could it be the newer CL-280 has a separate fan?

    Re: Chiller spare parts?

I'm not sure, was told buy seller that the chiller was only 6 month old. but when i test it . the chiller fail and i notice there are burn smell and smoke come out from the chiller.

But to what i know of refrigerant system. normally, fan will be integrate separately . or mount on the condenser. or mount at a distance to blow at the compressor.

    Re: Chiller spare parts?

finally got time to tear down another so call use for 6mth chiller. "HC150-A",
the chilling box capacity for HC150-A is small than Resun Cl280, can anyone confirm that there are a connector taped with scotch tape on their HC150-A? my have.

the thermal controller is not like resun cl280, highly not easy to replace once spoil, need to do mod on the panle or case. while resun cl280, can be replace with any oem with the specify dimension

the front shot of the thermal controller

the back shot of the thermal controller, note that the thermal probe are hard solder on the board(RT ad GND).

    Re: Chiller spare parts?

    Hi Sacy,
    I am from Brazil.
    My resun Cl280 is bad.
I will change the temperature controller. I had opened the chiller and i found an 9 Volts transformer.
I bought the controller with this diagram below. Could you indicate what is the cable can i connect in each number?
What is the function of this transformer?
    Thanks and regards

    Re: Chiller spare parts?

    Hi bhnitta..

The 9volts transformer is a step down transformer, it convert the high AC voltage(120v/220v) to low AC voltage(9v) , it is part of the stock power supply for the CL280 stock temperature controller.

Before you Start any connection, you need to confirm on type of voltage your new temperature controller need (AC voltage or DC voltage).. Base on the Photo you provide I'm not able to tell, the type of Electricity voltage needed to power you temperature controller. (SUPPLY pin1 and pin2)..** Please verify the type of Electricity voltage needed first

you able to provide the (brand name/model/type) of your new temperature controller..
