sharing my shrimps, have been keeping them for about 2 months now.

    PH: 6.4
    GH: 4-6
    KH: 1-2
    TDS: 180

My water parameter was unstable a month backthat causes death & colour drop of my shrimps, but nowthe colours are very nice and they become more active now.

i have a friend who kept them at ph 6.5-6.7 and the bkk breeds very well too. i think ph is not all that matters, have to take note of other parameters too

Lots of factors bro, when people encounter unknown death, molting problem , no breeding or loss of colour etc.... Breeders will usually keep quiet wont tell others hehehe

    Sad to hear that.

Be patience with your keeping, you will see the result thereafter.

    Re: Sharing my shrimps

Many newbies were overwhelmed when they noticed their shrimps were berried. They started to fall into bad habits by disturbing their tank more frequently such as giving them more foods or doing more WC and etc... However, these would cause a great impact on those shrimps especially that are berried and due soon. Death will usually be seen a week just before the gestation period. The female is extremely weak at this time.

So my word "patience" in here means that "Do as per normal in your keeping routine. Less WC if your water is still looking good." You do not need to give them extra treatment just because she is pregnant. I hope that newbies could gain some insight from my comment.
