Cheaper alternatives for Coralife metal halide tank mount fixture

However the price tag to it is frightening.

Nonetheless I doubt it is even available in Singapore.

So I will like to ask if any one you have suggestion(s) for a cheap but strong (as in bright) fluorescent (metal halide is just too strong and expensive) tank mount lighting fixture than has an aesthetic appeal. [my tank dimension is 29.5cm(L) by 14.5cm(B) by 19.5cm(H) and I am trying to grow dwarf hair grass)

In addition, (pardon me if I am asking for too much) can you please also name the local fish shop to get it? (Preferably some where towards the East from Novena leftwards)

seriously, you want to use Metal Halide for such small tank? You can get the same MH light as your attached picture at NA. For such small tank, I would suggest 18-24-36W fluorescent light

Hi Robert. That is why I said, "suggestion(s) for a cheap but strong (as in bright) fluorescent (metal halide is just too strong and expensive)"

I do know that metal halide is extremely strong. In fact, my uncle has it and it is rather blinding to look at.
