Is the 50-500 your latest toy?

I'm surprised that you can shoot at 1/60. Looks sharp at this resolution.

yes. new toy.

my lens line up now covers
12mm to 1000mm right now ..

however, using the 50-500 for a 50mm portrait lens/walk around lens is ridiculous

so may one day acquire a 28-135 IS when people dump it for the new 28-300 L

its not actually f8 but f/11, due to some tape on my TC, I hide the aperture info from the camera, so that I can have AF (which doesn't work.. only 1.4x can still af..)

so its 1/60s ISO 200 f/11

I'm using a remote switch also.

That being said, it is generally accepted that shutter-slap is only an issue between say 1/4 - 4". For brief exposure times, the vibration will not have propagated before the shutter closes. For long shutter times it will be insignificant. Have you ever noticed that people walking through your field of view do not show up at all in long exposures

he meant 35mm equivalent (because of the 1.6× crop) it is still his 300D.

A 1000mm (35mm SLR) is having a magnificent of 20x. Yes? So a Olympus Digital with 40x is having double the magnificent?
