Hi, any pro here who are using lushgro aqua as tank fertilizer with crs in the tank successfully without casualty?

As lushgro consist of copper and therefore worry it might kills the shrimps. I had 2 shrimps died after into the tank for 3 weeks, therefore not sure if is link to the copper Currently i am using both lushgro (alternate day dosing) and Mosura SHizen to deactivate the copper and seachem potassium on every water change weekly with seachem phrophrous daily.

Is this fer regime to vigrous for shrimps?? Thanks for all the expert advices

Your Lushgro is the semi transparent white bottle with a white sticker with black words, very simple and not professional looking packing type? The liquid is brownish color.

I am using this, but I dose only half the recommended dosage once a week together with Seachem Excel. No issues with it for my shrimps.
I have stopped dosing already cos my moss are gowing too much and I am lazy to trim them Hence I leave them alone to grow slowly without the additional fert and liquid CO2

I do recall most liquid fert have copper.

What you dose should be just nice or slightly less then what the plants require. Else will danger the shrimp if the plant never absorb enough to lower the risk.

Can try dilute the dosage besides lowering the dosage. But FYI, lushgro is very potent.

Btw, by dosing fert effectively you are change the gh value. Rocks also do contribute to gh. (gh is general hardness.)

I remember when I was a noob, a nice brother told me this.
"fert is like adding mineral to tank, topping up evaporated water with other then Distilled water also will. Then the sensitive shrimps will start having molting problems."

Hope what he said also help you.

Just to add, I will dilute the fert and Seachem Excel with my tank water in a tub then slowly drip into my tank

Gryphon, yes thats the one I am using, appearance of it is really left for begging. I am also dosing slightly lesser than recommended. I am continue to use the fert as this tank was only recently converted from planted tank with fishes to planted tank with shrimps.

I am still observing the tanks and the shrimps, hopefully the dead shrimps are isolated cases. WIll cut down all fert recommended dosage and keep fingers cross
