Hello, I only want to add that not all lines / brands are automatically PURE RED lines. Most of them are - however to my knowledge Benibachi, Assa, Ebi Ishi, Akaebisanto and Ebi Ten carry different lines or have Snow White genes included to archieve higher pattern. Correct me if I am wrong.

I too have read, heard and seen encounters with "PRL" having snow white genes and are revealed in their offsprings. Thus, I have been very selective and inquisitive about the shrimps that I keep too. Thank God that so far, I have not encountered any snow white offsprings and definitely not wishing for any.

I have Ebi Ten PRLs too but so far, even in their 3rd generation, no sight of snow whites, but have seen some breeders posting otherwise.

Thanks imke for the information. Looks like there are more "discrepancies" out there than I know of.

I noticed you've included 35shrimps but did not include Elegant Lady in the poll...is it because the Taiwan PRL strains are so numerous that its hard to keep track?

Yes, indeed. It is only a matter of fast developement and missing knowledge! No malice aforethought. Perhaps one can edit the poll and add names from time to time?

There are too many breeders of PRL.. I believe it's quite hard to keep track especially those in Taiwan as some of them are just not as active as those more renown names around..
