Welcome back
Should have a good variety of plants you can choose from as temperature will be lower in office.
Just started an office tank too, currently having UG, HC, fissidens, mini pelia, flame moss, Staurogyne repens![]()
hello team;
I've took a break for 4 years from the hobby, (sorry, distracted by radio controlled aircraft)
I hope to be getting back to the hobby and probably would be scaping a planted nano tank again...
I would be doing my wife's nano office tank as a starter soon so it'll be low tech with little water changes.
any suggestions on what plants to use?
oh by the way, hello all. nice to see you all again.![]()

i would suggest moss if you like small/tiny plants and APP if you like carpeting ones.
for me i would go for us fissidens but they take quite sometime to be lushhope it gives some help bro.

hi team;
can I check if there's an online website / database of plants that are classified by their demands?
e.g. high light low light / co2 needed/ not needed / cool temperature vs normal temperature....
someone gave me this link before, can't remember who, but I liked to use it. Not sure if it has all the information that you need though.

from 14L to 8L tank.

Just to add something I found.
The pictures provided not very extensive in Apc's plant finder.
Normally after listing out a few candidate, do a google search on the exact plant name then Switch to the pictures tab.
There might be some hit and miss in the pictures, but gives you a much larger look at the picture.
@14litre, unlike you I had to ask best pal google for itI've got a couple of these links. You want ?

thank you! thank you! this is great stuff

Honestly what you need is enough light, enough nutrient and plenty of CO2. Once you have that, you can grow almost any plants. That way you have more flexibility no need question your self whether the light enough or not, etc![]()
