My first minimal scape.

mincedmeat, I'm not sure actually. I think I should do the vinegar test, I used the API test kit and found my gH to be 12. kH around 5.

You should because the gH and kH seem to be on the high side.

Hm. I used vinegar with 5% acidity. No bubbling/fuzzing. Any bros out here can help me determine? I'm gonna go buy distiller water now.

rock will increase gh, your shrimps will have problem molting

I'm doing partial water changes with distilled water now. Gonna monitor for a while. Looks like its back no scape in my tank. Haha.

After last nights partial water change gH is at 10(10 drops to change to green). Approximately 172 ppm. Just did another partial change of water, shall measure gH later on tonight
