White sand turning yellow

Hi

I am currently having a planted tank .. I am using white sand as the front decor but after 2 weeks or so, the white sand starts to turn yellow .

Is there any cure for it ?

Dirt trapped between the sand?
Try washing them again.

It's dirt, try swirling around the sand when you clean the water, it helps a little bit

You will need to siphon the gunk trapped in it.

aha.. mine's the same... but I guessed they will be better after I added my shrimps in my tank!
