Employ Nerite snails for algae issues.
The algae makes the rocks looks natural in my opinion. you can get ottos, SAEs, shrimps, snails (aka algae crew) to rid off algae.![]()
The substrate is flat correct?
If the algae on the rocks look good on them. Leave it.
Not really must have a zero visible algae tank.

I like the algae on the rock also; as long as it doesn't go out of control, the rocks will soon look very lovely (& natural, of course). But yes, horned nerite snails are insanely effective algae removers; but they do leave white eggs (observable with naked eyes) here & there.
Algae on the rock looks more natural.
ok, thanks for all the feedback. think i'll just let the algae behopefully my glosso will be fully carpet within a month

The large white eggs (laid singly, unlike those pond snail eggs, which are almost always in a bunch) are the eggs of the horned nerite snails. They do not hatch easily; so if you can breed them, you are luckily. But the unhatched eggs are unsightly though.
You are not talking to me, right? i.e. you are responding to another post?
Hows the glosso doing? Your co2 is how many bps can i ask?
