    Hi Weilong,

Me also have same problem but I am leaving them alone right now coz mine only looking 4 algae. In 3 days I counted more than 20 snails. Only when there r too many will I add 1 puffer fish. My tank only 3 feet. 4 ur case 1 puffer is enough or else the puffer will turn on the other fishes in ur tank.

Thanks for all your suggestion and help.

I've removed those that I can see but sad to say got two big ones they "drop" onto the gravel and I can't find them anymore although I tried very hard to look for them.

I think I will go adopt Sherchoo's puffer if I still can't find them.

Sick these few days Sherchoo, I will call you once I recover.

Snail are quite harmless(at least those that I came to know of).

They may be unsightly but they do help to remove some of the aglae.

If it is not too much, just leave them alone. If it get too much, a small puffer fish should get rid of most of it.

My tank have snails but can only see one or two if I "look" hard enough.

If you really, can't stand snails. Remember to give your new plants a bleach bath before adding them.

I noticed just about everyone has snails in their tanks and want to do something about it but are afraid to use puffers due to their habit of attacking fish when snails run out. I have a suggestion, why don't we have an "aquaticquotient snail buster"? ie. we adopt a snail, say sherchoo's, and whoever needs it just keep it till the snails are gone and the puffer starts to attack fishes, then just remove and pass on to the next person who wants it? kinda like rent-a-snail.
