The metal type will work as well. I've used it before on my previous shrimp setup with no issues.

I see; I agree about the patience part, recently I tied 2 driftwood-worth of mini pellia, mini fissiden & mini bolbitis.

The bolbitis took me 10 minutes at most. The pellia took me 2 hours 38 minutes. & the fissiden took me*2 hours 16 minutes.

The most challenging thing is tying from a straight portion to continuing around the bends of the wood in general, i.e. one can't rest the moss on those bends because the moss will just fall off & if you change the angle so that the bend becomes "horizontal" enough to rest the moss on, the moss laid on the straight portion falls off. For the pellia I find it challenging because I tried to retain large single fronds but they have their own "natural curl", i.e. unlike the fissiden where it was easy to lay on the wood, so the pieces of pellia are often perched precariously on the wood & when I twist the thread around to press them down, they either slipped, or sprung off.

I really applaud your effort! Haha!

    Your patience is .
I gave up tying my mosses/fissiden already. Now I just dump everything on the soil.
Thanks bro! i cant wait for them to grow fast too! last time used to tie lots of them to sell (few years ago) so kinda get used to tying them already

Thanks bro! i didnt really take much time, everything (mesh, wood) was done in probably 2 hours or so.. to be honest i wasn't really laying everything nicely just making sure most parts are covered.

Nice setup Evo!. always been a fan of your setups haha. Could you provide an update on the performance of the light set. I was thinking of stepping down from my 15 Watts Fl shining over my 1 feet tank lol

Hi EvolutionZ, I noticed that your rocks seem similar to mine. Are you having any high gH issues?

    Beautiful....
Sayang to have a nice tank hidden in cabinet ...
And by the way ..why never use the oyama to cover the back to prevent the hof to be seen?

Thanks bro! pity i had no other place to put. But at least still got space althought had to be hidden!
I don't like the look of any oyama actually.. would rather leave it empty and all the stuff at the back can be seen then having oyama covering it.
