Latest FTS! tank went black-out for 2 days due to LED's adapter spoilt.. managed to fixed it and its back on now.. Jap hg abit yellowing though.

Nice... May I know how low the water temperature is? Do you use fan? My tank water temp is hovering around 30C and I wish to lower it to 26-27C.

btw will lobsters eat the shrimps or shrimplets? I used to have a lobster who ate neon tetra every now and then...

i got them from y618 and c328 for the CPO... they are not lobsters but dwarf mini orange crayfish. around 3 - 4 cm is their max length... if they managed to catch any shrimp/shrimplets they will eat it.

a little update.. US fissiden growing very well and even mini pellia too.. only the jap hg is having not much growth.

Hi evo. A neat and simple set up you got. Are those CRS and CBS recent additions? Didn't notice in your earlier updates.
anyways may I ask how are your water parameters and wc regime like now?

Thanks bro. Yes.. about 14 CRS and 3 BDS were added one week ago.. Till date no deaths yet.

To be honest, i didn't measure any of my water parameters.. i do 20% WC once a week(using seachem Safe and mineral powder) and feed once per 2 days..

im not exactly sure what grade they are now as i've not kept crs for quite a few years. some got S grade pattern but white not thick.. probably they are grade B - A now given today's high standard. Anyway grade not important... important is that they survive and eventually start breeding

To be honest, i added them impulsively last week.. 10 CRS were from JZX while 4CRS and 3BDS were from polyart.

I did not use the metal one, too expensive for me. I used the air sponge type. Perhaps bros that use the metal could give some advise.
