    Greetings to all,

I'm looking for a auto feeder for my tank and I was hoping to get some suggestions.

For my tank, I feed to different types of food, Sinking pellets for my corys (2 per day) and another smaller pellets for my other fishes (2ml per day).

I saw this auto feeder, Fishmate F14 Automatic Aquarium Fish Feeder. It can feed up to 14 times and I can put in the required food for each day. I think it is better than those rotating ones as I fear it might over feed.

What do you guys think? Plus, has anyone seen this in Singapore, if not I will have to import it.
    Cheers.

Hi, its nice that it can hold individual feeding portions so it can be controlled to the exact amount.
But of course I don't forsee 14 feedings a day.
Does it come with any form of moisture protection? Otherwise mites and mold will form in about a week.

From what I have gathered, there is a Moisture control feature by connecting an air pump.

The problem with that is, unless you already have an airpump running, and it's powerful enough to handle one more item in the loop, it's pain to have to install one just to blow at the feeder.

If you're going to use it long term on a regular basis, may be a better investment to get an Eheim feeder. It'll keep fish food dry for at least 2-3 weeks before I had to change it.

If its for a long holiday, then this feeder you originally wanted with an airpump to keep the food dry till you're back would be good enough.

Ya, I guess it will do. I'm trying to keep my options open and base on what I have researched, this is the only auto feeder that can feed exactly what I feed.
    Cheers.
