Red ear sliders are fun. I begged for them as a kid. Then after finally getting them, I got bored after a few months and eventually my parents did the very eco-unfriendly act of releasing them into the wild. Please don't do that.

Are you keeping them in a proper enclosure?

I not sure if this is consider proper, i am keeping them in a 4ft tank. I have a large basking pier and a spot incandescent lamp.

That's definitely proper. Back then I kept mine in a sad small container with 1inch water
